Terms and conditions
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These terms and conditions govern the use of lorangerie.ca and the services offered by L’Orangerie, a thermal spa at 71 de la Commune Street West, in Old Montreal. By booking a visit, buying a gift card or using our facilities, you accept these terms.
1. Operator
L’Orangerie is operated by L’Orangerie Spa Inc., 71 de la Commune Street West, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 2C6. Phone: 514-288-2009.
2. Bookings
You can book online or by phone. Booking is strongly recommended: it lets us prepare for your arrival. Walk-in guests are welcome, subject to availability.
When you book online, a credit card is requested only to secure your booking. Payment is made on site on the day of your visit.
3. Cancellation and changes
Any cancellation or change must be made at least 24 hours before your booked time. Within 24 hours, a fee of 50% of the value of the booked services applies.
4. Arrival
- Thermal cycle with a booking: check in at your booked time or within 30 minutes after.
- Massage therapy: arrive at least 30 minutes before your treatment to change, shower and complete the health form.
Every guest completes a consent form for each visit. We email it to you shortly before your visit so you can complete it in advance.
5. Eligibility
L’Orangerie is reserved for guests 16 and older. Photo ID is required on arrival.
6. House rules
To preserve everyone’s calm, guests agree to the following rules:
- Silence is observed at all times, everywhere on site.
- L’Orangerie is screen-free: electronic devices stay in your locker.
- Swimsuits and sandals are mandatory.
- A shower is required before the thermal cycle, and before and after a massage therapy treatment.
- Outside food and food delivery are not permitted.
- You cannot leave the site and come back.
- Alcohol and cannabis are strictly prohibited.
L’Orangerie may refuse entry to anyone, or ask them to leave, if they do not follow these rules or arrive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or cannabis.
7. Health and pregnancy
If you have a medical condition, please consult your doctor before your visit. The thermal cycle is not recommended during pregnancy. Prenatal massage is available from the 13th week of pregnancy.
It is your responsibility to tell us, notably in the health form, about any condition that may affect your visit or treatment.
8. Massage therapy
Our treatments are available in 60 or 120 minutes, solo or duo. An insurance receipt is provided for the value of the treatment. At any time, you can ask to adjust the pressure, technique or draping, or end the treatment. Gratuity is at our guests’ discretion.
9. Prices and payment
Our prices vary by season and day of the week; they are listed on our Pricing page. All prices are before taxes.
Payment is made on site. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit and cash.
10. Gift cards
Our gift cards are available on our website and in person at reception. They have no expiry date. They are non-refundable.
Launch Edition gift cards are on sale until November 30, 2026. Their value does not expire. They cannot be used toward memberships. Launch Edition offers cannot be combined: for example, a Launch Edition gift card cannot be used to pay for Mornings for two.
To use a gift card, book as usual: your credit card only secures the booking, and you pay on site with your gift card.
Scandinave Spa gift cards are accepted at L’Orangerie until November 30, 2026. After that date, they remain valid only at other Scandinave Spa locations. Service cards and Costco cards are no longer accepted at L’Orangerie. For more details, please contact our customer service at 514-288-2009.
11. Personal belongings
Every guest has a locker with a built-in lock. To the extent permitted by law, L’Orangerie is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
Items left behind are kept for 30 days.
12. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, logos and other content on this website belong to L’Orangerie Spa Inc. or its licensors. They may not be reproduced without written permission.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, including Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, L’Orangerie is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of its facilities, services or website. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you.
14. Personal information
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy policy.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute falls under the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
